115 VAC MidNite Solar Surge Protector Device MNSPD-115 is a Type 2 device, designed for indoor and outdoor applications.
Protection is achieved by reducing the clamping voltage to a safe level
that your system can sustain without damaging any electronics in the
system. The MNSPD is designed to clamp a 115,000 amp surge! Blue LED’s
provide visual indication of operation from a distance.
Engineered for both AC and DC electric systems, it provides protection to service panels, load centers or where the SPD is directly connected to the electronic device requiring protection. Protection is achieved by reducing the clamping voltage to a safe level that your system can sustain without damaging any electronics in the system. We recommend using this on marine related systems.
