Hypertech Battery Combiner 600 Hookup Diagram

Hypertech Battery Combiner 600 is for alternators up to 600 amps. Connects 2 or more batteries in parallel when either is receiving a charge. Separates them when charging ceases.

The Hypertech Battery Combiner 600 is a voltage-sensing relay which connects two batteries together when either is receiving a charge. When the charging ceases, the relay opens so that each battery operates independently.

Supplemental battery banks can be added by using an additional combiner for each bank. You never have to worry about switching to "BOTH" when your engine is running and forgetting to switch back to save your starting battery from discharge when you stop.

Please note: This product is only recommended if you will have a dedicated house battery that will be charged automatically with a Combiner or Trollbridge.

    SPECIFICATIONS

Simple basic installation requires two (2) battery cables and a ground cable. Comes with mounting hardware and cable terminals. When connecting the large Combiner 600 terminals to the positive (+) terminals of the batteries, USE A CABLE GAUGE THAT IS RATED FOR AT LEAST 75% OF THE ALTERNATOR’S OUTPUT CURRENT RATING. When connecting the ground terminal to the battery negative (-) posts, they must be connected together with a cable large enough to handle starter motor and alternator currents
