The QuietTorque™ 10.0 is recommended for boats up to 35’ (LOA) and 12,000lbs displacement. Typically, replacing diesel engines in the 15-20 hp range. It has a maximum input power of 10kW powered by a 48Vdc battery bank. Typical battery size is 200Ah or more at 48Vdc.

Like the QuietTorque™ 10.0, the QuietTorque™ 10.0 Sport is a plug-n-play system providing 48v (low voltage) electric propulsion with high sustained output and is ideal for coastal cruisers and day sailors. Typically, the QuietTorque™ 10.0 will replace a 15 to 20hp diesel engine. By using a PMAC (Permanent Magnet AC), Electric Yacht can produce this powerful, compact, Plug-n-Play, light weight, air cooled system.
Typical battery size is 200Ah or more at 48Vdc. These systems can be installed by a competent boat owner using simple tools and the easy to mount Electric Yacht system. To be prudent, we recommend that an ABYC certified marine electric technician review the completed system. Each system is engineered for your boat to maximize the speed and range of the boat.
QuietTorque™ 10.0 Sail Drive is perfect for new build or repower. Installs in place of existing saildrive with little or no modification to the hull. Typical battery size is 200Ah to 300Ah at 48Vdc.

selecting the correct size electric motor, in areas with strong tides
and currents, choose the next larger size motor. If your boat is heavy
