The refrigeration system on our 2000 Beneteau worked great in the spring and fall but would have a hard time keeping up during the summer months. It seemed that the compressor would always be running and the batteries would always need charging. After some research, we decided to go with the isotherm SP system and could not be happier. Our refrigeration requirements were about cut in half, the boat is cooler and we no longer have to hear the compressor. Best of all is that our boat is on a mooring and we are now able to leave our refrigeration on with food and ice on board all season long because of this upgrade. (We do have solar and wind to keep the batteries topped off)
