300 VDC MidNite Solar Surge Protector Device MNSPD-300-DC is a Type 2 device, provides protection to service panels, load centers or where the SPD is directly connected to the electronic device requiring protection.Recommended for use on your charge controllers and combiner boxes interfacing with solar DC circuits up to 300 VDC.

Protection is achieved by reducing the clamping voltage to a safe level that your system can sustain without damaging any electronics in the system. The MNSPD is designed to clamp a 115,000 amp surge! Blue LED’s provide visual indication of operation from a distance.
