KVH Starlink

KVH, a long-time marine satellite communications company, supplies Starlink hardware packaged for boats. This collection lists all KVH Starlink kits we carry: Performance Gen 3 kits with flat, wedge, wall and pipe-adapter mounts, with or without router; Performance Gen 2 kits with CommBox Edge; Gen 2 flat panel terminals; the Starlink Mini kit with kickstand, pipe adapter and 15 m DC cable; and the Standard flat panel terminal with kickstand and PoE cable.

How to choose a KVH Starlink kit

Start with the boat and how you will use it. Liveaboards and charter boats usually choose a Performance kit, mounted permanently with a clear view of the sky, and add a router for onboard Wi-Fi. Small boats, tenders and occasional users often pick the Starlink Mini, which is compact and runs from DC power. Then pick the mount that suits your hardtop, arch, pole or bulkhead, and check cable length to the cabin.

Is KVH Starlink different from regular Starlink?

The terminal is Starlink; KVH packages it with marine mounts and accessories. Service plans are arranged separately; see Starlink systems.
