The 10 170 Regulator With Pigtail feature an automatic restart circuit, and an adjustable voltage range with a top-mounted potentiometer.

This 10 170 Regulator Powerline Alternator With Pigtail is a high-side device intended for use with "P-type" alternators only. It cannot be used with alternators which are regulated through the ground-side of the field winding.
