The Marinebeam 12 SMD LED G4 Side Pin was developed in France, in conjuction with Euroindustry, specifically for the European OEM yacht industry.

It Force 12 was developed as drop-in replacement alternative to the expensive purpose-built LED fixtures, so that the builders could supply energy-efficient "LED-ready" yachts, and do so economically in this tough economic climate.

This 12 SMD LED G4 bulb is now found on production and custom yachts from builders throughout Europe.

The secret of this patented design is its highly-efficacious SSC 5050 LED's, and its heat-pipe heatsinks. These super-efficient convection pipes bypass all the typical thermal interfaces, and pull heat directly from the SMD and through the substrate. A clever, yet simple, idea. This bulb also features a highly efficient silicone thermally-conductive encapsulent to protect the components from corrosion.

Choose this bulb if you have 10W - 20W bulbs now. You may find it too bright for replacing 5W or 10W halogens without a dimmer.
