Questions & Answers

Does it come with a regulator?

No. AT-DF-165-K6 is Balmar's individual alternator part number. Balmar's matching kit adds the MC-614-H Max Charge regulator and MC-TS-A and MC-TS-B temperature sensors.

Do I need to change my belts?

Balmar says AT alternators should only be used with Dual Vee or multi-groove serpentine belts. An AltMount conversion kit may be required if your engine does not have a suitable pulley.

Will my tachometer still work?

Balmar notes that AT alternators may require a Tachometer Signal Stabilizer (part number 15-TSS) if your tachometer is not adjustable.
