Nose cone for Silentwind Wind Turbine
This is a replacement nose cone (spinner) for Silentwind marine wind generators made by Rulis Electrica. It covers the center of the rotor hub. Replace it if the original is cracked, lost, or damaged by UV.
Installation facts (Silentwind manuals)
- Mount the blades on the hub, fix the hub to the generator shaft with the central nut, and then snap the nose cone into place on the hub
- The nose cone is held by three plugs
- To remove it, pull it straight out
- In the Silentwind Pro packing list, the nose cone has order number SW101

How do I take the old nose cone off?
Silentwind says to simply pull it out. It is held in place by three plugs.
Do I need tools to install it?
No tools are needed for the nose cone itself. It snaps onto the hub after the hub and blades are fixed to the shaft.
