Victron Battery Indicator Panel

The Victron Battery Indicator Panel is a compact and easy-to-read battery status accessory designed for use with Victron Blue Smart IP65 and Blue Power IP65 chargers. Providing an instant visual indication of battery state of charge via a three-colour LED display, it allows users to assess battery health at a glance without needing to connect a charger or battery monitor.

The panel connects directly to a 12V lead-acid battery — compatible with flooded, GEL, and AGM types — using M8 eyelet connectors on a 1.5-metre cable fitted with a 30A ATO fuse on the positive lead. A female accessory socket on the panel also accepts the output connector of any compatible Victron Blue Smart IP65 charger, allowing the charger to be connected and disconnected at the panel rather than directly at the battery terminals.

The LED indicator uses a simple colour-coded system: green indicates the battery is 80–100% charged and does not need charging; orange indicates 60–80% charge and that charging is recommended; red indicates 40–60% charge and that the battery needs charging; and no light warns that the battery is below 40% and should be charged immediately to prevent sulfation damage.

Rated to IP65 for dust and water resistance, the panel is suitable for installation in marine, RV, and outdoor environments. It is designed to clip into a standard 39 × 22 mm panel cut-out, providing a clean flush-mounted finish on dashboards and electrical enclosures.
