The Victron Digital Multi Control 200/200A GX (DMC) is a remote monitoring and control panel designed to work with all Victron MultiPlus and Quattro inverter/charger systems - including stand-alone, parallel, and two or three-phase configurations. Connecting to the inverter/charger via a standard RJ45 UTP cable, it provides a clean, professionally finished control interface for mounting in the helm, dashboard, or system control panel of any vessel, vehicle, or off-grid installation.
The primary function of the Digital Multi Control is to allow the AC input current limit - for both PowerControl (shore power management) and PowerAssist (battery supplement) - to be adjusted directly at the panel without accessing the inverter/charger itself. The rotary control knob adjusts the AC input current limit in real time up to 200A, covering both AC input 1 (typically shore power) and AC input 2 (typically generator) on Quattro systems independently. The selected current limit is displayed on LEDs, and the inverter/charger can be switched between On, Off, and Charger-Only modes using the mode switch.
The GX variant of the Digital Multi Control features a modern plastic faceplate with no visible mounting holes - using an included mounting frame that allows the panel to be fitted from either the front or back of the panel cut-out, giving a clean, professional finish without exposed fixing screws. A built-in ambient light sensor automatically reduces LED brightness in low-light conditions, preventing the panel from becoming an unwanted light source in darkened helm stations or sleeping quarters.
Available in two RJ45 connector configurations - standard straight and 90-degree right-angle - the panel suits both standard and space-constrained panel installations. Compatible with both VE.Bus and legacy pre-VE.Bus inverter/charger systems (firmware 15xx, 17xx, and 18xx).
Features
Remote AC Input Current Limit Adjustment - Up to 200A
The rotary control knob adjusts the AC input current limit for PowerControl and PowerAssist in real time - up to 200A - directly at the panel without requiring access to the inverter/charger unit. The current limit can be set independently for both AC inputs on Quattro systems.
On / Off / Charger-Only Mode Control
A mode switch enables the inverter/charger to be switched between Inverter+Charger (On), Charger-Only, and Off modes from the remote panel - providing full operational control of the MultiPlus or Quattro without physical access to the unit.
Compatible with All Multi and Quattro Systems
Works with all MultiPlus and Quattro inverter/charger configurations - single unit, parallel, two-phase, and three-phase - and with both current VE.Bus and legacy pre-VE.Bus systems running firmware versions 15xx, 17xx, and 18xx. No additional configuration is required for VE.Bus systems - simply connect via RJ45 UTP cable.
GX Plastic Faceplate - No Visible Mounting Holes
The modern plastic GX faceplate uses an included mounting frame to allow installation from either the front or back of the panel cut-out - concealing all fixing hardware for a clean, professional finish suitable for high-visibility installations on helm stations and dashboard panels.
Automatic LED Brightness Reduction at Night
A built-in ambient light sensor automatically reduces LED brightness as ambient light drops - preventing the panel from becoming an unwanted light source in darkened helm stations, sleeping accommodation, or vehicle cabins during overnight operation.
Available with Straight and 90-Degree Right-Angle RJ45 Connectors
Available in two RJ45 connector configurations - straight for standard installations, and 90-degree right-angle for space-constrained panel installations where the cable must exit parallel to the panel surface - ensuring clean cable routing in any installation environment.
Simple RJ45 UTP Cable Connection - No Extra Setup
Installation requires only a standard UTP patch cable with RJ45 connectors - connecting the panel to the inverter/charger's VE.Bus port. In the vast majority of installations no further configuration is required, making the Digital Multi Control one of the simplest remote panels to commission.
ECE R10-6 Automotive Certified
