The GlobalLink 520 is a compact Victron device that provides internet connectivity and VRM remote monitoring access for VE.Direct-equipped Victron products - including MPPT solar charge controllers, BMV battery monitors, and SmartShunts — without the need for a full GX device. In locations where the GlobalLink 520's internal antenna cannot maintain a reliable LTE-M connection, the Outdoor Wall-Mount Antenna extends the effective cellular range by mounting the antenna externally in an elevated, unobstructed position and routing the signal indoors via the included 5-metre cable.

The antenna connects to the GlobalLink 520 via a standard SMA male connector, replacing the device's internal antenna with the outdoor unit. The 5-metre cable provides sufficient length to route from an interior-mounted GlobalLink 520 to an exterior wall-mounted antenna position through a bulkhead, conduit, or cable gland. The weatherproof construction ensures reliable outdoor performance in rain, UV exposure, and temperature extremes typical of marine, RV, and off-grid installations.
