The Victron Phoenix Inverter 24/3000 120V VE.Bus (PIN243020100) is a professional-grade true sine wave inverter delivering 3000 VA of continuous 120V AC output from a 24V battery bank - designed for marine, RV, off-grid, and vehicle applications where reliable, high-quality AC power is required from a 24V DC source. Employing Victron's SinusMax hybrid high-frequency and line-frequency technology, it combines the compact dimensions and lightweight design of high-frequency inverters with the high start-up surge power and robustness of line-frequency designs.

The VE.Bus communication port enables connection to the Phoenix Inverter Control panel for remote on/off and AES (Automatic Economy Switching) mode control, to a Victron GX device for system monitoring and VRM integration, and to the MK3-USB interface for firmware updates and advanced configuration via VE.Configure on a computer. Up to six Phoenix 24/3000 units can be connected in parallel to deliver up to 18kVA / 14.4kW, and three units can be configured for three-phase output - providing a scalable inverter platform for larger installations without requiring a different product family.

AES mode minimises no-load power consumption by reducing inverter output voltage slightly to decrease standby losses - automatically deactivating when a load is connected and returning to full output. A search (ECO) mode periodically checks for a connected load and shuts down between checks, providing the lowest possible no-load current draw. A remote on/off terminal allows the inverter to be switched on and off by a low-current signal without routing high current through the switch itself.

The Phoenix 24/3000 includes comprehensive electronic protection - output short-circuit proof, overtemperature shutdown with automatic restart, and low battery voltage alarm and cut-off with configurable thresholds via VictronConnect or VE.Configure. Its IP21-rated blue aluminium enclosure is suitable for installation in dry indoor locations including marine cabins, battery rooms, and vehicle electrical compartments.

Features

SinusMax Hybrid HF Technology - True Sine Wave Output

Combines high-frequency and line-frequency inverter technologies - delivering a clean 120 VAC ± 2% true sine wave at 60 Hz with the compact form factor of an HF inverter and the high surge power capability of a line-frequency design, suitable for all AC loads including sensitive electronics and motor-driven equipment.

High Start-Up Surge Power

SinusMax technology provides very high peak surge power (6000W) - well suited to starting difficult loads such as refrigeration compressors, air conditioning units, electric motors, power tools, and switching power supplies for LED and halogen lighting that demand high inrush current at startup.

VE.Bus Communication - GX Device, Remote Panel, and MK3 Integration

The VE.Bus RJ45 port enables connection to a Digital Multi Control or Phoenix Inverter Control panel for remote on/off and AES mode control, to a Victron GX device for system monitoring and VRM remote access, and to the MK3-USB interface for firmware updates and advanced configuration via VE.Configure.

Parallel and Three-Phase Scalability

Up to six Phoenix 24/3000 units can be connected in parallel for combined output up to 18kVA / 14.4kW, and three units configured for three-phase operation - providing a scalable, modular inverter solution for larger off-grid and commercial applications without changing the product family.

AES and Search (ECO) Mode - Minimised No-Load Consumption

AES mode reduces no-load power consumption by slightly reducing output voltage under no-load conditions - automatically returning to full output when a load is detected. Search mode turns the inverter off between periodic load checks, delivering the lowest possible no-load draw of just 6W.

Remote On/Off Terminal

A dedicated remote on/off terminal accepts a low-current control signal - enabling the inverter to be switched on and off via a relay, switch, or BMS output without routing high current through the control switch, and without disconnecting the battery.

VictronConnect and VE.Configure Compatible

All key parameters - including low battery alarm and cut-off thresholds, dynamic cut-off, AES mode settings, output voltage, and output frequency - are configurable via VictronConnect (Windows, macOS, Android) using an MK3-USB interface, or via VE.Configure (Windows only) for full advanced configuration.

Comprehensive Electronic Protections

Output short-circuit proof, overtemperature shutdown with automatic restart, low battery voltage alarm and configurable cut-off levels, and over-voltage protection - covering all common fault conditions to protect both the inverter and connected equipment.
