Victron Lithium SuperPack

The Victron Lithium SuperPack NG is a next-generation, all-in-one lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO₄) battery designed as a direct drop-in replacement for lead-acid batteries in off-grid, RV, marine, and recreational vehicle applications. Available in 12.8V/100Ah, 12.8V/200Ah, and 25.6V/100Ah variants, each model delivers ample power to run complete electrical systems — including high-demand appliances — in a compact, integrated enclosure that requires no external BMS, relay, or additional protection hardware.

At the core of every SuperPack NG is a fully integrated Battery Management System with cell balancing, comprehensive software protection, and a hardware safety switch capable of interrupting short-circuit currents above 800A. The BMS continuously monitors cell voltage, state of charge, temperature, and current, automatically disconnecting the battery under overvoltage, undervoltage, overtemperature, undertemperature, and overcurrent conditions — ensuring safe, maintenance-free operation throughout the battery's service life without any external intervention.

A built-in self-heating function ensures reliable charging in cold environments by maintaining cell temperature above the minimum safe charging limit. In Charger mode (default), the heater draws power from the connected charger and activates automatically when cell temperature drops below 0°C. In Auto mode, the battery powers the heater from its own stored energy — keeping cells ready for immediate charging without external power. This makes the SuperPack NG particularly well suited for mobile and cold-climate installations where conventional lithium batteries would be unable to accept a charge.

Built-in Bluetooth Smart enables direct pairing with the VictronConnect app on iOS and Android devices, providing real-time state of charge, battery temperature, warnings, and alarm monitoring without needing to connect to the battery first — the Instant Readout function displays key data directly in the device list. Users can configure charge settings, set a configurable discharge floor to protect reserve capacity, and update firmware wirelessly. The External Feedback Signal (EFS) output provides a battery voltage signal for redundant system protection or can be configured as a charger start signal based on the low SoC pre-alarm threshold.

With a round-trip efficiency of 93% and a cycle life of up to 2500 cycles at 80% DoD, 3000 cycles at 70% DoD, and 5000 cycles at 50% DoD, the SuperPack NG offers dramatically longer service life than lead-acid alternatives with capacity loss of less than 1% per 100 cycles. An unlimited number of units can be connected in parallel to expand total energy capacity. IP65-rated against dust and water jets, each variant can be mounted upright or on its long side to suit a wide range of installation environments.

Fully Integrated BMS and Battery Monitor

The SuperPack NG incorporates a complete Battery Management System with cell balancing, state of charge monitoring, and software protections against overvoltage, undervoltage, overtemperature, undertemperature, and overcurrent. A hardware safety switch interrupts short-circuit currents above 800A, eliminating the need for any external BMS, relay, or protection hardware.

Built-In Self-Heating for Cold-Climate Operation

An integrated heater maintains cell temperature above the minimum safe charging threshold in sub-zero conditions. In default Charger mode it draws power from the connected charger; in Auto mode it uses the battery's own stored energy — automatically resuming charging once a safe temperature is reached, making it ideal for mobile and cold-climate installations.

Bluetooth Smart with Instant Readout

Built-in Bluetooth Smart pairs with the VictronConnect app for real-time state of charge, battery temperature, warnings, and alarm monitoring. The Instant Readout function displays key data directly in the VictronConnect device list without requiring an active connection — providing at-a-glance battery status at any time.

Configurable Discharge Floor

A user-configurable minimum state of charge setting protects the battery from excessive discharge while maintaining a defined reserve capacity. When the floor is reached, VictronConnect triggers a Low SoC alarm and the Allowed to Discharge indicator turns off automatically until the battery is recharged above the threshold.

External Feedback Signal (EFS) Output

The EFS output provides a battery voltage signal — limited to 250mA — that can trigger an external alarm device for redundant system protection. It can alternatively be configured as an External Charging Signal to activate a charger start when the battery's low SoC pre-alarm threshold is reached, enabling automated generator or charger control.

Exceptional Cycle Life — Up to 5000 Cycles

The LiFePO₄ chemistry delivers up to 2500 cycles at 80% DoD, 3000 cycles at 70% DoD, and 5000 cycles at 50% DoD at 25°C, with capacity loss of less than 1% per 100 cycles — providing dramatically longer service life than lead-acid or other lithium chemistries with minimal degradation over time.

Unlimited Parallel Expansion

An unlimited number of SuperPack NG units can be connected in parallel to increase total energy capacity, allowing the system to scale from a single battery to a large bank without additional hardware. Series connection is not supported.

IP65-Rated, Compact Enclosure

The IP65-rated enclosure provides full protection against dust ingress and water jets, making the SuperPack NG suitable for demanding environments in marine, RV, and outdoor off-grid installations. The 12.8V/100Ah variant is compatible with BCI Group 49 dimensions for direct retrofit of standard lead-acid batteries. All variants can be mounted upright or on their long side for flexible installation.
