The Victron Lynx Class-T Power In (M10) is a high-current modular busbar unit designed to connect and fuse up to two strings of lithium batteries within the Victron Lynx Distribution System. Featuring integrated positive and negative busbars with M10 connections, two Class-T fuse slots, and a dedicated DC system grounding connection, it provides a safe, compact, and scalable battery input point for high-capacity 12V, 24V, and 48V energy storage systems.
The Lynx Class-T Power In accepts Class-T fuses in 225A, 250A, 350A, and 400A ratings (sold separately), providing a maximum fused input current of 800A from two battery strings. The busbar itself is rated for 1000A continuous, equivalent to 12kW at 12V, 24kW at 24V, or 48kW at 48V — making it suitable for demanding off-grid, marine, and large-scale renewable energy installations. Additional Lynx Class-T Power In modules can be interconnected side by side to accommodate three or more battery strings without compromising the modular system layout.
As a core component of the Victron Lynx Distribution System, the Lynx Class-T Power In connects directly to all other M10 Lynx modules — including the Lynx Smart BMS, Lynx Distributor, and Lynx Shunt VE.Can — using M10 interconnecting bolts, forming a continuous positive and negative busbar across the entire assembly. The modular snap-together design allows the system to be configured and expanded to suit any installation, from a simple two-battery bank to a large multi-string system with battery management and fused load distribution.
The robust ABS enclosure is rated IP20 and operates across a temperature range of -40°C to +60°C. The tinned copper busbars (8 × 30mm) ensure low-resistance, long-term connections, and the unit can be mounted in any orientation with included stickers for correct label orientation when mounted inverted. Cable lugs up to 120mm² or 3/8"-4/0 AWG are accepted on all M10 connection studs, tightened to 33Nm.
Features
Dual Class-T Fuse Slots for High-Current Battery Protection
Two 3/8" Class-T fuse slots accept fuses rated 225A, 250A, 350A, or 400A (sold separately), protecting each individual battery string with Class-T high interrupt current fusing. The maximum fused input current per module is 800A (2 × 400A), with the overall busbar rated to 1000A continuous.
M10 Busbar Connections for Maximum Current Capacity
All DC battery and busbar connections use M10 studs rated for cable lugs up to 120mm² or 3/8"-4/0 AWG, tightened to 33Nm — providing robust, low-resistance terminations suitable for the full 1000A continuous busbar rating across 12V, 24V, and 48V systems.
Modular Lynx Distribution System Integration
Connects directly and seamlessly to all other M10 Lynx modules — Lynx Smart BMS, Lynx Distributor, and Lynx Power In — forming a continuous positive and negative busbar assembly. Multiple Lynx Class-T Power In modules can be chained together to accommodate three or more battery strings in a single integrated distribution system.
Integrated DC System Ground Connection
A dedicated ground connection point is built into the Lynx Class-T Power In, allowing the DC system to be grounded at a single defined point within the Lynx assembly — simplifying grounding compliance and reducing the need for additional external grounding hardware.
1000A Continuous Current Rating
The tinned copper busbar (8 × 30mm cross-section) is rated for 1000A continuous at system voltages from 9 to 60VDC — equivalent to 12kW at 12V, 24kW at 24V, and 48kW at 48V — making it suitable for the largest Victron inverter/charger systems and high-capacity battery banks.
Flexible Mounting in Any Orientation
The Lynx Class-T Power In can be mounted in any orientation — horizontal, vertical, or inverted — with included orientation stickers ensuring labels remain legible regardless of mounting direction. Five 5mm mounting holes are provided for wall, panel, or DIN mounting.
Compatible with Class-T Fuses in Four Current Ratings
Accepts Class-T fuses in 225A, 250A, 350A, and 400A ratings from standard Class-T fuse manufacturers. Class-T fuses provide an extremely high interrupt current rating, making them the preferred fuse type for lithium battery systems where short-circuit currents can be very high. Fuses are sold separately and are not supplied by Victron.
Robust ABS Enclosure — IP20 Rated
The durable ABS enclosure is rated IP20 for indoor installation protection and operates reliably across a temperature range of -40°C to +60°C, making it suitable for installation in battery compartments, marine engine rooms, and off-grid electrical enclosures.
