M6/M8 Eyelet Connector with 30A Fuse

The Victron M6/M8 Eyelet Connector with 30A ATO Fuse is a permanent battery connection accessory designed for use with the Victron Blue Smart IP65 and Blue Power IP65 battery chargers. Available in M6 (BPC900100014) and M8 (BPC900110014) eyelet sizes, it allows the charger's DC output connector to be plugged in and unplugged at will — with the eyelet end left permanently bolted to the battery terminals — making it ideal for hard-to-access batteries where a direct charger connection is impractical or inconvenient.

The eyelet ring terminal is bolted directly to the positive and negative battery terminals, with a 30A ATO blade fuse in a splash-proof inline fuse holder on the positive (red) cable providing overcurrent protection. The DC connector on the other end of the 40cm cable plugs directly into the charger's output socket. Once installed, the charger can be connected and disconnected at the DC connector without requiring access to the battery terminals — making repeated charging sessions fast and clean without the risk of accidental short circuits or terminal damage.

The M6 variant (6.4mm eyelet) is suited to smaller battery terminal studs and bolt sizes common on motorcycle, small marine, and auxiliary batteries. The M8 variant (8.4mm eyelet) suits the larger terminal bolts found on car, leisure, and deep-cycle batteries. Both variants use the same 40cm cable, 2mm² (AWG14) wire cross-section, and 30A ATO fuse — and are identical in function, differing only in eyelet hole diameter.

The M8 Eyelet Connector with 30A ATO Fuse is included in the box with all Blue Smart IP65 charger models. The M6/M8 Eyelet Connector is also sold separately for installations requiring an additional or replacement battery connection point, or where the M6 eyelet size is preferred over the included M8.

Permanent Battery Terminal Connection

The eyelet ring terminal bolts permanently to the battery terminals, allowing the Blue Smart IP65 charger to be connected and disconnected at the DC connector rather than at the battery — eliminating the need to access the battery terminals for every charging session and reducing terminal wear and the risk of accidental shorts.

30A ATO Blade Fuse — Splash-Proof Inline Holder

A 30A ATO blade fuse in a splash-proof inline fuse holder on the positive cable provides overcurrent protection for the connection between the charger and the battery — protecting against accidental short circuits during connection, disconnection, and normal charging operation.

Available in M6 and M8 Eyelet Sizes

Available with an M6 eyelet (6.4mm hole diameter, BPC900100014) for smaller battery terminal bolts, or an M8 eyelet (8.4mm hole diameter, BPC900110014) for standard car and leisure battery terminal bolts — ensuring a secure, rattle-free fit on any compatible battery terminal regardless of bolt size.

Ideal for Hard-to-Access Batteries

Particularly valuable where the battery is installed in a confined space — such as under a seat, in a locker, or in a dedicated battery compartment — where repeatedly attaching and detaching crocodile clamps or ring terminals would be difficult, time-consuming, or impractical.

The M8 Eyelet Connector with 30A ATO Fuse is supplied in the box with all Blue Smart IP65 charger models. It is also available separately — as either the M6 or M8 variant — for installations requiring a second connection point on an additional battery, or as a replacement if the original is lost or damaged.
