Epoch

Epoch Batteries makes LiFePO4 lithium batteries for marine, RV and off-grid use. eMarine carries the Epoch Essentials 12V 105Ah and 300Ah, the 12.8V 460Ah Essentials and the 12V 460Ah with Victron communications, the 24V 100Ah, the 24V 230Ah V2 Elite Series with heating, Bluetooth and Victron communication, and the 48V 100Ah battery.

How to choose an Epoch battery

• Voltage: 12V, 24V or 48V to match the system.
• Capacity: large single batteries reduce the number of parallel connections.
• Cold climates: heated models allow charging in low temperatures.
• Integration: Victron-communication models report to Victron GX devices.

Do Epoch batteries work with Victron?

Models with Victron communications can connect to compatible Victron systems. See Victron Energy.

Where can I compare other lithium batteries?

See marine batteries.

Why choose a heated lithium battery?

LiFePO4 cells should not be charged below freezing. Heated models warm the cells before charging, which is useful for boats and RVs used in cold seasons.
