It's not a radar, it's your new Marine HVAC in a radar dome. The Mabru RadAir is a 12,000 BTU, 12 V DC self-contained marine air conditioner that sits on a rooftop, totally enclosed in the dome with a hermetic seal. It provides heat and cool and comes with a 12 V raw water pump, and it suits boats that run air conditioning from a DC battery bank.

The unit includes a military copper antimicrobial evaporator and large copper tubes for better refrigerant flow, a B30 condensing coil, digital touch control, raw water pump, high static pressure blowers, water and airflow safety sensors, and a composite base.

Questions & Answers

Is the seawater pump included?

Yes. The RadAir comes with a Mabru 350 GPH 12 V raw water pump.

Is the pump self-priming?

No. Mabru says its seawater pumps are not self-priming. Mount the pump level with or above the sea strainer, but still 1 foot below the waterline.

Is the display waterproof?

No. Mabru says the current color touch display is not waterproof, so locate it out of the weather.

Does the unit need to be bonded?

Mabru says the drain pan on its 12 V DC air conditioners, including RadAir, needs to be grounded or bonded to the ship's ground.
