The Victron Orion IP67 24/12-100A is a high-power, non-isolated DC-DC converter that steps a 24V input down to a fixed 12V output at up to 100A continuous current (1200W), for large 12V loads run from a 24V system - such as winches, inverters, or high-draw electronics. Being completely resin encapsulated and IP67 rated, it is waterproof, shockproof, and ignition protected, so water, oil, and dirt will not damage it.

The casing is cast aluminium and the internal electronics are fully moulded in resin, giving the converter both a rugged mechanical enclosure and complete protection against moisture ingress - suited to engine rooms, bilges, and other exposed marine or vehicle locations where a standard open-frame converter would not survive.

A remote on/off port allows the converter to be switched from a distance with a low-power switch or an external control signal such as an engine run/stop switch, without needing a high-current switch in the main input wiring. Output overload and short-circuit protection safeguard both the converter and connected equipment from damage during fault conditions.

With a wide 18-35V DC input range and 96% conversion efficiency, the Orion IP67 24/12-100A maintains stable 12V output across normal alternator and battery voltage fluctuations while minimising heat and power loss even at its full 100A rating.
